Ceremonial Heian

I realize that Junihitoe have twelve layers and it seems I forgot one. Also the way it scanned the colors run together and got a bit faded out but I promise the layers are there (the eleven that is   )

Also I swept the hair from her face seeming ladies of that era never had their hair in their eyes. I gave her the fashionable eyebrows of the time as a well as the side bangs that were generally cut around the cheekbones. Hair was always parted in the center but she had no part here so...I was going to give her the trademark, floor-length hair, but decided she'd just look ridiculously unrecognizable. 

Perhaps my art is improving in the cartoon realm but I need my traditional art to stop sucking
